Founded in 1999, The Piedmont Group, Insurance Solutions sole purpose is to provide reputable, comprehensive and affordable insurance solutions to business owners, farm owners, and residents of Maryland, Virginia, Southern Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Washington, DC. While these areas are a central focus for The Piedmont Group, certain agents and staff members have licenses throughout other parts of the country as well.

We specialize in, but are not limited to, the Green Industry, Agricultural and Contracting markets. We pride ourselves in our ability to customize each clients’ insurance program to meet the unique needs of their business or family.

The Piedmont Group has grown from two agents working primarily in the field to a multi-line insurance provider with multiple agents and specialists to assist a wide range of clients. Our agents and staff are fully licensed in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health.

	Andy Bennett, Managing Partner Andy's commitment to the agricultural and contracting communities has helped grow the agency into a reputable insurance provider in the region.   Within the agency, Andy focuses on agent recruiting, development and education as well as long-term agency growth.   Andy is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Business Administration and Management.  Andy is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, South Dakota, Texas, Delaware, Florida and the District.
	Aaron Hoopes, Multiple Line Agent Aaron concentrates primarily in central Maryland working with small farming operations and young families helping them plan for the future with life and disability insurance.  Aaron is licensed in Maryland and Virginia for Property & Casualty and Life & Health.  He has a degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University.
	Terry Gallagher, Multiple Line Agent (Virginia) Terry focuses heavily on the contracting and arborists markets in Northern Virginia.  With a background in construction management, Terry’s knowledge of the market allows him to connect with the needs of his clients.  Terry has a degree in Mass Communications and Spanish from Virginia Tech.  He is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health in Maryland, Virginia and the District.
	Ben Warfield, Multiple Line Agent With a strong background in the agricultural industry, Ben Warfield focuses primarily on the agri-business and contracting markets.  Ben graduated from Texas A&M University earning a degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration.  He was also a member for the Livestock Judging Team.  Ben is licensed in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health in both Maryland and Virginia.
	Kolby Adams, Benefits Specialist With a background in the health insurance industry, Kolby is the primary contact for our life, health and disability clients. Kolby is also working with our current client base to develop comprehensive benefits programs. Kolby is state licensed in Life & Health and has a degree from Keene State College in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
	Molly Kilmore, Marketing & Agency Administration Molly’s responsibilities include working closely with the agents to develop new markets and strengthen existing markets in the area.  Molly also serves as lead administrator handling the bookkeeping for the agency.  Molly is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health in Maryland and Virginia.  She holds a degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Towson University.
	Carson Baker, Operations Director Carson works primarily with our agents, account representatives and clients to assist with reviews, procedural and policy related subjects.  Carson is working to help move the agency into a more systematic and organized approach to many of our operating procedures.  He also works closely with our IT systems.   Carson is a graduate of West Virginia University where he earned a business degree.
